Central bank: Russians’ overdue debt exceed 1 tln rbl on Sep 1
MOSCOW, Sep 29 (PRIME) -- Debts of Russians overdue by more than 90 days grew by 5.3% in August to more than 1 trillion rubles as of September 1, overshooting a 1 trillion ruble threshold for the first time since the end of 2016, as seen by PRIME on Tuesday in the materials of the central bank.
The share of bad debts of individuals also grew by 0.2 percentage points to 5.4% of the total amount of loans, the level of the beginning of 2019.
The combined volume of retail loans went up 1.9% in August to 18.8 trillion rubles as of September 1.
